The State that gave us Dogfish Head Brewery and The Monster Mile.
Thanks for Dogfish Head at least, Delaware. (No offense to NASCAR fans intended. Or is there…)
But wait, what’s this?
There’s a new player in town(well, the same State anyway), and they are Mispillion River Brewing, and they opened their doors in 2013. So I guess they’re not “new”, but rather “new-ish”, to me anyway.
Their brews have just started popping up in my local liquor store, so I figured I’d give them a try.
That brings us to Mispillion River ‘Reach Around IPA’.
Pretty cool name for a beer, right?
Well, you might not like the name if you’re one of those people that are easily offended by anything and everything.
Let’s face it, no one likes those people anyway.
I wanted to love this beer for the name alone, you know?
Unfortunately, it was good, but nothing about this beer will blow you away.
In all honesty, when I saw this brew on the shelf, I thought the label said “Beach Around” IPA.
So, at first, I thought it was a new “Session” beer for me to try.
It wasn’t, but that’s okay, I like beer.
‘Reach Around IPA’ clocks in at only 6% ABV, so having a few is okay!
If you’re in to that sorta thing…

Try it for yourself, you might just enjoy it more than I did.
