The Goblet of Fire/Vault Brewing

For some reason, @PinkPirateNinja is on a Harry Potter kick recently, but it’s fine.

I actually blame HBO.
They just HAD to have all the movies available to stream, so we’re watching them in order.
I vaguely remember the first one, so the experience hasn’t been too awful.
Plus, you know, beer.

For the third film, The Goblet of Fire, I chose a nice and light 8% beer from Vault Brewing.
I chose wisely.
Their Mosaic Imperial IPA helped me get through this one.

Not that it was a bad movie in general, but I just didn’t understand their haircuts. Especially Ron and Harry.
Seriously, what was with the long shaggy hair?
I’m sure there has to be a barber at Hogwarts somewhere.
I’m not kidding when I say it bothered me throughout the entire movie.(Ask @PinkPirateNinja, she’ll confirm I couldn’t let it go, because I’m ridiculous)

After my second beer, the movie got A LOT better.
Thank you Vault.

If you haven’t seen this one, go ahead and watch, just make sure you have a few beers on standby.

I’ll only give away one spoiler: The whiny sparkling vampire from ‘Twilight’ “bites” it.

Vault Mosaic Imperial IPA: 3 out of 5 Kegs
Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire: 4 out of 10 Drunk Penguins

Update: The Order of the Phoenix

They all got haircuts!!!

  1. Larry Burnett says:

Will give the brew a try as far as the movie goes I have already watched it and no need to revisit ..

  2. Doubt you’d be overly impressed with the beer, but the 8% gets the job done.
