Heavy Seas Beer ‘Powder Monkey Pale Ale’
Heavy Seas Beer is quickly becoming a Brewery where I don’t even hesitate to grab one of their beers to try.
It all started a long, long time ago, this past August, when I tried Heavy Seas ‘Loose Cannon’ (You can read that one here if you like…)
Then their ‘Riptide White IPA‘.
Then ‘Small Craft Warning Uber Pils‘.
I’m sure you see where this is going…
So now when I see a new one from them, I get it.
A full six-pack of a Beer you’ve never tried is generally a risky play.
Not to mention quite the commitment if you end up not enjoying a particular brew.
I’ve been lucky so far with this brewery, and when I saw ‘Powder Monkey Pale Ale’ on the shelf, it was as good as bought.
I don’t drink Pale Ales very often, IPA’s are generally the bulk of my purchases, but I like to switch it up now and then.
I’m a rebel, I know.
Sometimes you just need a beer that goes down nice and easy, with good flavor, and ‘Powder Monkey’ fits this entirely.
Plus, at 4.8%, you’re not going to regret killing all six in a sitting.
Not that I drank all six in a night.
Okay, I actually did, just don’t tell anyone…
What can I say, it was tasty, don’t judge.
