There’s a lot of love out there in the beer world for Bell’s Brewery.
That being said, they didn’t have distribution to my lovely home state of New Jersey, until just recently.
So, when I walked in my local spot the other day and saw they had gotten in a few options from Bell’s, I obviously picked up some of their beer to try.
While I had tried their ‘Two Hearted Ale’ a couple years ago over in Philly, and didn’t fully understand all the buzz, I figured why the heck not try it again.
I mean, it’s a pretty good beer, but not an “oh my God, I can’t live without this in my life kinda brew”.
Would I drink it again?
Would I clamor for it?

Let’s move on to Bell’s ‘Lager of the Lakes’ Pilsner, shall we?
I don’t expect much from a pilsner in general, so I shouldn’t have been disappointed, but I was.
This beer goes down super easy, so there’s that I guess, but if a beer is too bland for even @PinkPirateNinja, there’s a problem.

Cheers and happy drinking boys and girls!
